Winter and spring 2013

We had enough snow one day in January that we could go sledding for a few hours about 25 minutes away. It was a very fun morning and we had a hill all to ourselves!

Sadie couldn't get enough snow to eat. Every time we turned around she had her face in the snow taking bites or was chomping on a snowball she picked up.

In March I took a trip to Idaho to see Camille's musical, Joseph, that Henry, Heidi, and Tommy were in. Sadie, Lucy and I flew out and the girls did wonderful on the plane, much to my relief!  Sadie LOVED the extra one on one time with me and then with lots of family in Idaho. Lucy started smiling to everyone and got held just about all day, every day. Meg was the #1 companion/babysitter to Lucy while there.

Found these two asleep on Jenny's bed after Jenny had read Sadie lots of stories.

I extended my stay a few more days so I could be there when Michael returned from his mission. His flight came in at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and I had to be to the airport the next morning for a 6:30 a.m. flight. We went to Cathy's for a family dinner and to hang out until it was time to go to the airport. We had a game of hide-and-seek and Sam had the best hiding spot that took all of us several minute's to find. He had crawled behind some insulation in a closet in the bathroom. It was a lot of fun hanging out at the airport awaiting Michael's arrival. There were long jump competitions and human pyramids built. Sadie and Lucy fell asleep on the way there and were out for the night. It was a sweet reunion seeing Michael again with a missionary glow and energy.

Easter Sunday with these sweet 4 kiddos in their spiffy new clothes.  These may be the only pictures we have of Cade of Cade in a suit to this day. He wanted to look just like Daddy.

We had a fun Easter-egg hunt with the Pulvers at their house right before it rained pretty hard. Then we enjoyed a nice Sunday dinner and games together. That has been a Sunday tradition with them the past few months. They feel more like family than just friends.

Next door neighbor baby McClain and baby Lucy- just a month apart in age.
Because I couldn't figure out how to move these pictures, I have some more Idaho pics here
