Life in McDonald, Tennessee

We moved into a brand new rental house out in the country. We felt like we moved next door to Old McDonald's Farm living in the town of McDonald. We moved during spring break so Kaitlyn started up Kindergarten at Prospect Elementary. Nate was able to take her to school in the morning on his way to work and she rode the bus on the way home. It was her first time riding the school bus so it was pretty exciting!

Grandma and Grandpa Peterson came to visit and help us get moved in. They were a big help and made the transition a lot easier. Cade especially loved hanging out with Grandpa.
Grandma made Nate's favorite birthday dinner (tuna casserole)and cake (refrigerator cake) to celebrate his birthday a little early while they were there. He was in heaven!

We were excited that Grandma and Grandpa could be there for Easter! Grandma taught us how to make paper mache Easter eggs. She also made Easter clothes for the kids and sent us all on scavenger hunts to find our baskets.

We discovered a great park called Imagination Station. It was the closest park to our house...only a 20 minute drive.

Grandpa loves history, and we only lived 45 minutes from the Civil War Chickamauga Battleground historical site, so we headed down to Georgia for a few hours.

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa visit!!
